Obituary of George Frederick Whelan

George was born in Sussex on October 5, 1914; he was the son of the late George and Florence (Cummings) Whelan.

George will live on in the hearts of his brother Walter; his sisters: Theresa Freeze and her husband Albert of Aiton Rd, Anna Doherty and her husband Leo of Passeakeg, Edna Dibblee and her husband John of Plumeweseep and Elizabeth Wgelan of East Coast Village; as well as several nieces and nephews

Mr. George Frederick Whelan of formally of Sussex, passed away at the McCullough's Special Care Home on July 3, 1993 at the age of 78.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday, July 4 from 7-9pm and Monday, July 5, from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

A service celebrating George’s life will be held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 6, 1993 at 10:00am.
