Obituary of William A. Stephenson
Mr. William A. Stephenson was born in Hampton on July 27, 1910, he was the son of the late Samuel and Jane (Townson) Stephenson.
He served in the Royal Canadian Army during WWII in Kingson, Ontario and Fredericton, NB. He was also an avid ham radio operator and had other varied interests.
William will live on in the hearts of his wife, Edith M. (Farris) Stephenson; his daughters: Donna M. Stephenson of Cambridge Narrows and Marilyn MacBeth and her husband Rick of Sussex; his brother in law - Ronald Farris and his wife Garda of Cambridge; his sisters-in-law: Muriel Farris of Cambridge and Myrtle Stephenson of Sussex; his grandchildren; his adherent family members: Marcel Prevereau of Sherbrook, PQ and Don and Brenda Moffett of Sussex; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. William A. Stephenson of Cambridge Narrows, passed away at the Saint John on October 21, 1993 at the age of 83.
He was predeceased by his brothers: Curtis, Murray, and Samuel Stephenson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).
A service celebrating William’s life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Sunday, October 24, 1993 with Rev. Seidel officiating. The interment took place in Cambridge Baptist Cemetery.
