Obituary of Cathleen Joy Atkins

Mrs. Cathleen Joy Atkins was born in Guelph, Ontario on June 16, 1953; she was the daughter of the late Neil and Ruby Christensen.

He was a member of the PC association of Youngs cove, the Royal Canadian Legion, Youngs Cove Branch #60, and loved her time spent with her Tuesday night mixed bowling league.

Cathleen will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Jonna; her sons: Thomas Court and Matthew Court and Julie Ann Burns all of Youngs Cove Rd.; her brother, Ron Christensen of BC; her sisters: Rose Sargent and her husband Norman of Guelph, Ontario, Jan Johnson of Cambridge, Ontario and Gladys Morley of BC; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cathleen Joy Atkins of Sussex, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on October 23, 1993 at the age of 40.

She was predeceased by her husband, John G. Atkins who passed away in 1990.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

A service celebrating Mrs. Atkins’s life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 27, 1993.
