Obituary of Charles "Garth" Harry Northrup
Mr. Charles Harry "Garth" Northrup was born on April 6, 1919 in Millstream, he was the son of the late Charles and Irene Northrup.
He was a retired mechanic. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, The Millstream Rec. Council and a volunteer member of the Millstream Fire Dept. Garth was an avid hunter, fisherman and a sportsman all his life.
Garth will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife, Alice; his daughter, Monica Carhart and her husband Bob of Head of Millstream; his sons: Murray Northrup and his wife Marjorie of Sussex and Brian Northrup of Sussex Corner; his brother, Dan Northrup of Sussex; his sisters: Beth O'Donnell and her husband Murray of Saint John and Alice Simms and her husband Sandy of New Harbour, NS; his grandchildren: Amy. Steven and Justin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Charles Harry "Garth" Northrup of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on October 28, 1993 at the age of 74.
He was predeceased by his sister, Hazel DeForest.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Garth was held from St. Francis Xavier Catholic on Saturday, October 30, 1993. The interment took place in St. Phillips Catholic Cemetery, Millstream, NB
