Obituary of Cedric Ramsay Gass

Mr. Cedric Ramsay Gass was norn in August 7, 1919 in Sackville, he was the son of the late William and Doris (Snowdon) Gass.

Cedric was a retired Postmaster of Sussex, he was a member of RCL#20, Sussex, a

past president of the Lions Club, honorary president to the equestrian association NBEA., Past president of the Sussex and district music festival and Founder of the Sussex Pony Club.

Cedric will live on in the hearts of  his daughter, Catherine MacLeod and her husband Gerald of Sussex Corner; his brother, William and his wife Kathleen of Boston; his grandchildren, Alexander and Shannon; a niece; a nephew; and a great nephew.

Mr. Cedric Ramsay Gass of Sussex, passed away on December 08, 1993 at the age of 74.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Bridget (Birdie) (Crayton) Gass who passed away in 1992.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).  

A service celebrating Cedric’s life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 11, 1993 at 2:00pm.
