Obituary of Wiley Havelock McLean

The death of Wiley Havelock McLean occurred June 12, 2005 at his residence Salmon Creek Queens County. He was formerly of Sussex Corner. Wiley was born at Shannon, NB on March 8, 1911; a son of the late Sheldon and Nettie (McKinley) McLean. He is survived by two sons Hilton and his wife Ariena of Drurys Cove and Allan and his wife Connie of Shannon. Nine grandchildren, Pam Knight (Frank), Andrew (Shawney) McLean, Jeffrey (Terrie) McLean, Danny (Cindy) McLean, Wiley (Brenda) McLean, Toni McLean, Denise Wilkins (Mark), Lisa McLean and Carla Dalling (Earl), twenty great grandchildren, one sister Brentha Cosman of Hampton and several nieces and nephews. Wiley was predeceased by his first wife Treva (Tingley) McLean, his former wife Irene (Vale) McLean, brothers; Freeman and Walter, sisters; Effie Branscombe, Nina Hawkes, Ethel McLean and Pearl Brown. The family will receive visitors at the Sussex Select Community Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, (506-433-2133) on Tuesday from 4-9PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel Wednesday June 15 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wayne Murphy officiating. Interment at the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens in Moncton. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
