Obituary of Gaëtan Maurice Pigeon

It is with great sadness that the family of Gaëtan Maurice Pigeon announce his passing at the Sussex Health Center on July 5, 2022 at the age of 88. He was the son of the late Firmin and Marie-Anna (Rondeau) Pigeon.

He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Suzanne; his children: Maurice Pigeon (Laura Mazerolle) of Quispamsis, Larry Pigeon (Cindy) of Nicaragua, Michael Pigeon (Debby) of Guelph and Norm Pigeon (Laurie) of Sussex; his siblings: Gilbert Pigeon, Jacqueline Veipans, Paulette Pigeon, Huguette Pigeon and Simone Morin; his grandchildren: Melanie Pigeon-Way (Crystal), Jocelyn Calder (Robert), Jon McFarlane (Manon), Jamie Sloan (Paul), Tajia Sopp (Daniel), Brody Reyes (Jenn), Sasha Glabik (Jason), Jessica Murphy (Thomas), Amanda Pigeon and Anthony Pigeon; his great grandchildren: Ethan, Chloe, Andi, Charlie, Allija, Izrael, Naliyah, Kalil, Madalene and Freya; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Jacques, Roger, Marcel, Jean-Guy, Yvon and Paul Pigeon and by his sisters: Lucille Caron and Martine Karp.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. At his request no funeral service will be held.
