Derek and Family: I’m so very sad to hear of June’s passing. She was a childhood friend and classmate of mine. I recently became reacquainted with June after not seeing her for the better part of forty years. It was like no time had passed! She was the same warm, friendly, and funny person I remember. I was lucky to have had many chats with June over the last couple of years. I used to love running into her at Tim’s and Sobeys. Derek, Krista, and Rob, and families, I am so heartbroken with the news. June was a friend to me for a very, very long time. As young girls growing up we would hang out together at each other’s homes. She always had such a sweet smile and had patience beyond words.
