We were very saddened to hear about Myrtle, she was a down to earth, quick witted lady and fun to be with. We enjoyed our time in Newfoundland with her. Myrtle was blessed with wonderful neighbors and friends who looked out for her.. Condolences to her family and may she rest in peace.

To Myrtles family, Always enjoyed talking to Myrtle whenever we ran into her.Such a sweet lady.She called Peter and desperately wanted someone to shovel off her roof...so Peter came to her rescue...a few times....and she made sure there would be coffee and homemade cookies once he was done !! I am so very sorry to hear of Myrtle's passing. She lived a good long life. She was a fixture in Waterford. I bowled with her for a bit and every time she threw the ball I held my breath because I expected her to go with it. She will certainly be missed.

Will always remember your kindness and great laugh. You gave my sisters and I some of our best childhood memories of staying there every summer. I always wished I was Paul and had grown up in the house filled with joy, laughter, and the smell of cookies baking.
