We always appreciated seeing Alton and Berta especially at our Crandall get togethers. I remember at lasts year event having a long conversation at Crandall about a variety of things. I was always interested in Alton's stories about his work, machinery. nature, farming etc.
Last year we had a great discussion bout faith, church life etc. Alton had a deep faith in his Lord and loved his family. Psalms 23 the promise that the Lord will lead us by the still waters and green pastures, And the promise to bring comfort in times like these. Jack and Ardeth Allen

I enjoyed meeting Alton and Bertha here in Mt Denson when they visited Bertha s sister Dale many years ago. Both such nice people. A couple of summers ago I spent the night at their home and again found them so welcoming and generous. Alton gave me a tour of his antique farming collection, he was so proud and rightly so, it is amazing. He attached a story to many of the articles and really made my visit so interesting. His love for his family was clear, Alton will surely be missed.
