Obituary of Greta Christina Shaw

It is with great sadness that the family of Greta Christina Shaw announces her passing, which occurred on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Stewarton, NB, on November 6, 1933, she was a daughter of the Late Howard and Edith (Stackhouse) Green.

Greta is survived by her husband, Edward Shaw, of Sussex, NB; her son Stephen Shaw of Alliston, ON; her grandchildren: Brayden and Hannah; her brother Arthur of Sussex; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Along with her parents, Greta was predeceased by her brothers: Ora, Douglas, Roy, Jack, Albert, Blake, Lloyd, Murray; and her sisters: Ruby, Evelyn, Laura and Pauline.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176), from where visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. A Celebration of Greta’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11:00AM from Sussex Baptist Church, 24 Church Ave with a reception to follow at the church.  Interment in Bayview Cemetery will be held at a later date.
