I met Minnie years ago through our mutual.work with children and families .Minnie was an inspiration to me personally when I too began my cancer journey. I'll never forget the time during covid she reached out to me with encouragement and support which meant a great deal. I was so sorry to hear about Minnie today. I only just learned she was ill last week. We met as young teenagers in Ellershouse when Minnie stayed with Estelle during the summers… Big news in our little village..A Pretty New Girl here for the summer. We became great friends and had lots of teenaged girl fun. We kept track of each other over the years and bumped into each other occasionally but we both held those summers in a special place in our hearts. With her quick smile and warm heart I know she was a wonderful mother and a very special grandmother. My sincere condolences to all her family.
