Obituary of Russell Raymond Boyd

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Russell Raymond Boyd announce his passing on November 25, 2022 at the age of 69.  Born in Sussex, NB on August 2, 1953.  He was the son of the late Merton and Bertie (Henderson) Boyd.

Russell loved spending time with his family, he took great pleasure in hunting for deer and moose.

He will live on in the hearts of his siblings: Gary (Jennie) Boyd, Arnold (Dee) Boyd, John (Karen) Boyd, Michael Boyd, Mark (Jan) Boyd, Albert (Nina) Boyd; sister-in-law Joan Boyd; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his parents, Russell was also predeceased by his brothers: Norman and Lloyd; sisters: Gail Keith and Yvonne Boyd.

His family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care that Russell received from his nieces Debbie (Mark “Bullwinkle”) and Angela over the past few months.  Also thanks to Dr. Becker and Extra-Mural nurses for their care and kindness.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) and will be held privately.  Donations in memory of Russell may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.  Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through wallacefuneralhome.com
