Obituary of Gerald Pearson
Gerald Pearson was born in Pearsonville on July 31, 1927 , he was the son of the late Murray and Florence (Smith) Pearson and the husband of the late Effie (Holder) Pearson who passed away in 1993.
He was a nursing orderly at the Saint John General Hospital for over 20 years. He was a proud member of the Canadian Princess Louises 8th Hussars, the Markhamville Orange Lodge #91 and a registered guide in the Province of NB.
Gerald is survived by two brothers: Ken and his wife Verna of Sussex and Ronald and Nadine Smith of Sussex; two sisters: Thelma Whelton and her husband Joe of Saint John and Mabel Buchanan and her husband Otty of Fredericton; two sisters-in-law: Ethel Pearson and Patricia Pearson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Gerald was predeceased by three brothers: Lewis, Eugene and Melvin . Mr. Gerald Murray Pearson of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on January 20, 2008 at the age of 80.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm .
A service celebrating Mr. Pearson’s life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 2 :00 pm.
