Our condolences to the family. We've met Steve briefly 2 summers ago in Orangeville. He did a beautiful work around our home, Sometimes he would come to work with his daughter; even my 5 year old remembered him. He was animated with joy when talking about his beautiful wife, his dream to be fulfill in New Brunswick etc... Simply a true gentleman and a hardworking man. Steve gave us a gift , a plant called " forget me not " and planted it in our backyard on his last day of work at our home. I shall never forget the young, energetic, Joyful, hardworking and full of dream Steve that I have met. His personality was charming and unforgettable. It is with heavy heart that my family and I are saying goodbye today to Steve.
May the Lord our God bring comfort to his family and may Steve's soul rest in peace.

Steve. Christmas, and family gatherings will never be the same. You knew how to light up a room. There was always shenanigans to be had. Your presence just carried a light with it, everywhere you went. You're going to be missed man. See ya when I get there.

Stephen, chosen son you came into our hearts like a world wind. First and foremost you will always hold a special place in our hearts. You will never be forgotten and we will always love you. Your life has been taken too soon you did live a lot of life in that short time. You leave behind your partner and beautiful children and your chosen family and friends. We are all heart broken and will miss you terribly. We feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to love you and watch you grow from a young boy to the father and brother that you became. Your laughter was intoxicating and your beautiful smile touched all of us. Your energy, spirit and attitude towards life was contagious. There was no job that you could not do, you were confident, hardworking and so helpful to so many. Hard work was the name of your game. You were a father, brother uncle and son to our family. You will be greatly missed by every life that you touched especially your chosen family. Alex/Jessa/McKinley/Scotlyn Stewart, Jeff/Tristan Robinson, Tom/Carter/Sydney Davis, Jessee/Steve/Dani Masaro, Jared/Melissa Liedtke,Laura/Bill Caron, Danny/Darvey Liedtke. A leaf in your memory will be placed at Island Lake memorial wall in Orangeville. Oh yes one more thing Heaven is going to be rocking with our wild child up there. Until we meet again my friend ❤️ Darvey, Danny Liedtke and family xxoo
