When the store at Apohaqui opened for business I loaned some of my heritage artifacts for the main window exhibit. We are distant cousins that go back to the Mercer sisters, Emma Jane and Mary Ann Mercer. Both sisters married into the Stackhouse family and Emma Jane's family married into the Armstrong family.

Kerry Lynn (and the entire family),
My life is all about having WORDS to say. It’s what I do. Words that are helpful. Words that offer understanding. Words that clarify what is confusing. Unlike Rodney I use my words more than my hands.
BUT today - I have no words! Perhaps there is sense to all of this - one day we will understand I am sure. Perhaps the meaning of THIS loss will someday be clarified. I trust it will. And perhaps God understands the bigger WHY to the events in our lives. I believe He does and that one day the window through which we now see poorly will be cleared and everything will make sense. I rest in that truth and that God knows and understands what we don’t.
But today my understanding is weak. The window through which I look is foggy. And God’s plans seem confusing.
I do know however - that in the midst of the pain and confusion God IS PRESENT. And I claim Isaiah’s promise: “He will keep you in perfect peace when your mind is stayed (focused) on Him. (Is a. 26:3) That is a verse I have held on to in my many dark days.
Be assured of Apohaqui love and prayers from the other side of 121. (We are in NH this week but our love and prayers know NO border!)
