So sorry to hear of Ivan’s passing. He was such a fine man and a good friend. We had several years of being next door to he and Van on the shores of Grand Lake. Many meals together and fun times. My sympathy and condolences to all of Ivan's connections. I likely would not be the longest friend of Ivan's, but I was working in Bathurst when Ivan accompanied Floyd Williston to the North Shore on weekends. I was left in Bathurst long enough to attend both weddings, so over 62 years of precious friendship. Later we also spent days at Grand Lake on the old Trans Canada highway with the three daughters at home. Ivan was an outstanding man in every way, besides being a personal friend. May everyone connected find comfort in remembering an outstanding friend.
