So sorry that Doris has passed but now she is with her sister, brothers and parents. As a younger cousin I do not have any memories of early years but after her return I chatted with her at the rink. I can still see her gliding on the ice. David your love and dedication to Doris was unrivaled. May your happy memories sustain you through this difficult time. Out thoughts are with you.

David, I offer my condolences on Doris's passing. I have always been so happy to have met Doris many years ago now. She was a lovely person as you know. I was so sorry concerning her illness and truly believe she remembered me on the few occasions I saw and spoke with Doris during that time. That made me happy as well. My thoughts and prayers and blessings go out to you, David, at this sad time.

Deepest condolences, David. Your steadfastness and devotion to your beloved Doris was beyond measure. You will surely miss her. I remember Doris as a child when we grew up on Maple Avenue and went to school together in Sussex. Always active, always involved, working in their little store on Maple Avenue - busy young girl then too. These are fond memories for sure. I am sure the happy memories you made together will be welcomed as you release her to the next chapter of her life.
Sincerely,
Brenda (Liddle) Graham

David, Doris' Family:
Doris and I were classmates and friends for our 12 years of school in Sussex.
After high school, we lost touch, but met again decades later when we both retired to God's Country
and were involved in planning our 40th high school reunion.
I was amazed to learn that we had both spent most of our working life in Toronto and that Doris and David
had bought a house on Church Ave., in Sussex, less than a 3 minute walk from my parents' former home!
I am so glad that we had the opportunity to become friends with Doris again for a short period of time
and to get to know Doris' devoted husband David.
