Obituary of Laura Raymond

Laura Raymond finished her life's journey on July 31st at the age of 84 at the Sussex Health Centre to be re-united with her parents Reg and Mary Raymond.  Born in Searsville July 9, 1939 she is survived by sons: Tony (Vicki) Raymond, Searsville, and Joseph Raymond, B.C., her brother, Art (Laurine) Raymond, Searsville, her uncle, Richard (Dick) Brown, and many grand and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Ernest (Evelyn) Raymond.

During Laura's life she graduated from the Nova Scotia School for deaf children, she loved to knit and sew and most of all she had a scribbler full of special dates for relatives, neighbours and friends.  She was always sending out cards, birthdays, Christmas and just cards to say hello. Her smile and cards will be missed by many; especially Canada Post.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 1-3pm followed immediately by a Celebration of her life.
