I had the pleasure of working with Art (as we called him) at the Department of Natural Resources years ago. Very nice man and easy to talk to. I was only there as a casual. After I left there, each time I would run into him we always had great conversations. As I had previously met and talked to Marie, when I saw her in June I learned that Art was in the nursing home. A friend learned of his passing from his obit at Frennette's, so I read Frennette's a week or so previous to receiving email from Wallace's.
To Marie and all who knew and loved Art, sincerest condolences to all.
Rest easy Art.

I had the privilege of taking two UNB geology courses in the 1980's in Sussex with Dr. Ruitenberg as professor. He was an excellent instructor and made his courses interesting and practical - so knowledgeable, yet so humble. Sincere condolences to the family.

We are sad to hear of Arie's passing . He was such a kind and humble gentleman . He always asked about "the girls " and was so pleasant to talk to .
