Obituary of Leslie Huestis

It is with great sadness that the family of Leslie Frederick Huestis announces his passing at the Sussex Health Centre on August 27th 2023 at the age of 73. Leslie was born in Jewetts Mills, NB on September 23, 1949; he was the son of the late Russell and Phyllis (Peters) Huestis.

He is survived by his children: Sally Keddy (Gary) and Sandra Huestis (Jim); his granddaughter, Sarah Keddy; his siblings: Pearl Smith (Ivan Sr.), Caroline Green (Byron), Lyle Huestis and Marilyn Michaud (Steve); Helen Kingston, Aunt Geneva Huestis, and Aunt Maxine (Uncle Joe) Hurley, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

 Along with his parents and infant brother, he is predeceased by his infant son, Ronald and “big brother”, Allison Kingston.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176) with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
