Dad, I’ll always cherish your memory. You were my biggest fan and I always did my best to make you proud. You’re my inspiration and the man who pushed me to be better every day. I owe all of my success to you. I’m going to miss your laugh and your sarcasm. You loved a good joke and always had one to share with me. You loved to get involved with everything I was interested in as a child. Countless hours of sorting hockey cards we collected together. You even coached my hockey team. All those early trips to the rink and countless hours driving all over the place to get me to a game. You always knew the right thing to say when I needed lifting up. You always had my back. You always had the voice of reason in any situation. You made everyone around you laugh and smile and never asked for anything in return. I love you Dad and will miss you always. Until we meet again Pops, you’ll be close to my heart and I’ll heed your advice everyday. Promise to be the man you inspired me to be and I’ll continue to make you proud everyday.
