Obituary of Jon Pevlin
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jonathan Matthew Hazen Pevlin announce his sudden passing at his residence on October 8, 2023 at the age of 42.
Born in Saint John, NB on February 7, 1981; he was the son of Gerald “Ernie” and Linda (Pevlin) Klein.
Jon was a simple hard-working man. He had a great sense of humor and was the center of any gathering. He loved to be surrounded by people and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Jon always wanted to be a truck driver, when that dream was realized he embraced every moment and every sight he got to see. Jon was a good man and a good provider. He had a kind heart and a beaming smile and will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he has touched.
His greatest accomplishment was being a dad. He loved his children with every ounce of his being and anytime you saw him, he would take a moment to tell you a story or two about them and just how proud he was to be their dad.
He will live on in the hearts of his parents: Ernie and Linda Klein; his children: Jordan Parsons, Jadyn Parsons-Pevlin (Tysen Schneider) and Julie Parsons (Tyler Thiels) and Jacob Parsons-Pevlin; his brother, Jeremy Klein (Jennifer) and their children: Rilee, Rhea and Thomas; his maternal grandfather, Hazen Pevlin; the mother of his children: Amie-Sue Parsons; his best friends: Mike and Rosa Wipf; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Gerald Klein, Doreen Klein and Jean Klein; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Pevlin; his honorary grandmother, Fannie Vautour.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr., Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). A celebration of Jon’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 2:00pm. The interment will take place in Kingston Baptist Cemetery.
