Obituary of Daniel Middleton

Mr. Daniel James Middleton of Red Deer, Alberta passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the age of 52 years.

Daniel was born on May 7, 1971, and was raised in Sussex, New Brunswick. He chose a career in the Trucking Industry. Daniel loved to drive truck, and all the freedom he felt while on the open roads, and the sights he saw through the United States and Canada. Daniel loved being outdoors in nature, hiking, and camping in the mountains with the ones he loved. He also had a passion for fishing, hunting and four wheeling with his black Chevy.

Daniel will be remembered by his wife, Florilyn; his son, Jesse Middleton; his two daughters: Samantha Middleton and Myranda Middleton all of Victoria; his stepson, Marc Caranguit and his stepdaughter, Milcah Caranguit both of Red Deer; his mother, Linda Mason of Cornhill, NB; his brother, Roger Middleton (Leslie) of Ontario; his second mother, Ann Wood of Cranbrook, BC; as well as several extended family members.

Daniel was predeceased by his brother, Jamie Middleton; his father, Frank Middleton; his stepmother, Theresa (McLaughlin) Middleton and by his half brother, Thomas Ernest Joseph Mason.

Arrangements in care of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 — 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer. 403.340.4040. At the family's request no formal service will be held. 

The family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Daniel’s life on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20 (66 Magnolia Ave, Sussex, NB E4E 2H2) from 1-4pm.
