We will miss you Dick. I will treasure my memories of you visiting and helping on the farm. Loved your sense of humour, kindness, willing to lend a hand and the stories you shared about when you and Dad were young.
Love,
Linda, Nevin, Reese and Liam

I remember Dick hauling pulp for my father many years ago. Again at the nursing home and he always talked and called me by my brothers name. He enjoyed the times I played a bit of music there and I enjoyed playing for him.

I am sorry to learn of Dick's passing. I first worked with him in the summer of 1980 painting the steel bridges at Lower Millstream.
After that we were together on quite a few bridge jobs, most of which involved sandblasting and painting. Although those jobs were often dirty and far from glamorous, Dick never complained and helped to make a days work go by pretty smoothly. And when the dog days of summer hit and an ice cold drink of water was needed, Dick always had a jug full of the best, coldest water to be found and was always willing to share with his co-workers.
To all of Dick's family members, I extend my sincere sympathies on your loss.

remembering all the times he would stop by the house and have a cup of tea with marg and my self, and the time dick and elyene slid down the hill doing figure 8's when the front axle of her car broke, and they landed in our drive way in apohaqui, all they were worried about was taking our mail box out.

Sad to hear of Dickie’s passing. Condolences sent to his family during this difficult time.
There isn’t a day that I can fondly think back and recall the days of him working on my Uncle Stan’s farm during haying season, and also living next door with Eileen.
He always kept a close eye on Sherry and I when we would tag along for a hayride or have Dickie put us on a bale of hay and send us up the elevator into the barn attic/mow.
He was always so fun to be around, yet very quiet, meek mild mannered and very kind…and when he had that twinkle in his eye he was about to tease you good.
Thank you Dickie for always keeping a close eye in us when we were kids out in the hay fields, you were just like an uncle to me.
May you rest in peace my friend!
