Obituary of Randy Vousden

Mr. Randy Vousden of Sussex, New Brunswick died on Sunday November 19 2023 at the age of 60 at the Saint John Regional Hospital in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Randy was born in Scarborough, Ontario and then later from Angus, Ontario where he lived for two decades before retiring in the town of Sussex New Brunswick.

Randy leaves behind many loved ones including his wife Sharon, his sons Adam and Jason, and his daughters Andrea and Julia.

Randy is predeceased by his parents Hilary and Edith Vousden, his stepfather Colin Barrand, his sisters Lucy and Baby Mary. He is survived by his brother Tim (Susan), his sister Tracy (Paul), and his brother, Eric (Tina) along with many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Randy spoke frequently and proudly of his lengthy truck driving career. In his earlier years Randy was a Boyscout, an avid camper, a Nascar fan, an enormous Philadelphia Eagles fan, and a regular snowmobiler. Later on in life he enjoyed poker, gameshows, watching boxing on TV, and he always enjoyed his ice cream.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr., Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). At the family’s request no visitation or funeral will be held.
