Obituary of Ralph Herbert Steele

It is with heartfelt sadness the family of Ralph Herbert Steele announce his passing on February 6, 2024 at the Sussex Health Centre with family and friends by his side.

Ralph was born in Sussex on February 18, 1956 and was the son of the late Kirke and Muriel (Kilpatrick) Steele, the youngest of their six children.

He is survived by one brother, Allan (Linda), one sister, Susan (Fraser) Keirstead, an aunt, Kay Kilpatrick, sister-in-law Sandra Steele, loving partner, Nancy Smith, her children, Erica and Josh , her grandson, Oliver, several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was predeceased by his brothers Bob Steele, his wife Louise, David Steele and Jackie Steele.

Ralph was a licensed carpenter and the owner of Dairytown Contractors. He loved to travel, camp, four wheeling, boating, weekends at the lake, hanging out with friends and music videos.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). A celebration of Ralph’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Wallace Community Chapel.
