We were shocked to hear of Bill's passing. He was a man so full of life and laughter it is hard to believe he is gone. His eyes were so full of mischief and he could always be counted on to get a room laughing. We were of an age, and I have many memories of the families time in Ontario. On a dairy farm just south of Terra Cotta, my Mom (Shirley Hicks/Cole and Dad Roland), my brother Bruce, Uncle Fred, Aunt Marj, Cousins Bill, Dwight and Patsy would spend many a weekend. Us kids would get into mischief while our parents did grown up things. Oh so many memories.....like the time we were playing in the apple orchard and I sat on one of the dairy cows who was taking a break from the summer heat under the tree branches, when out of nowhere Bill comes out and gives the cow a quick shove and I go flying off to land face first, nose about an inch from a cow patty. How we laughed. That is how I will remember Bill, laughing.

So sad to here of Bills passing. My memory's of bill was back when he worked with my Father at Nelson Monuments, can't remember what year that was, but he made me laugh so hard I had tears. From that day on, and as I got older everytime we met in passing, he made it a point to stop and chew the fat. Always had that smile and the sence of humour to boot. When he was at the Sussex regional high, those days when ya went to school in not the best of moods, when he saw you he made a point to come over, nudge ya then within 20 seconds you would be laughing. That was the spirit I always Remember him having, to this day. Condolences and deepest sympathy from the Green Family to all of yours. Very good man Bill was, he will be deeply missed.

Wendy, Cody, Erika, Aunt Marjorie, Dwight, Pat, Fred and families,
We were devastated when we heard the news about Billy.
You could never be around Billy without there being lots of laughter and good times.
He was such a big part of my life! I have so many memories of he and I in Newtown playing, hooking our big black dog up to a stroller and having him haul us around, to telling jokes from one room to another when we were supposed to be asleep; going to dances when he and Rick had their band, hanging out with all our other Cole cousins when all of our parents would get together at Aunt Bea and Uncle Seth's.
He was the best man when we got married. We were more like siblings than cousins when we were younger, your cousins truly are your first friends!
Wendy - I remember the weekend before you two were to get married and you two had decided to spend the weekend with your families. Billy didn't last, he had to head to Saint John.
Billy will be missed by so many of us but no more so than by his beloved family. Our sincere condolences on your great loss!
Love from Janet & Erban
