Mary & me send heart felt condolences to all the family and are truly sorry to hear of John's passing. Over the years since 1973 when we were married and well before that for me as Carolyn's mother Aunt Helen to me and my mom were sisters. There are so many great memories of time spent with John, Carolyn, Juanita, Heather and Diana it would be impossible to list them all. I think the attached photo of me and john at one of the family gatherings says it all, there’s John relaxed as always.

What a wonderful man! I will always remember his laugh, his kindness and so much more. He had the biggest smile in Sussex. He will be missed by so many. My sympathy to his family and to his family at Sharps. He had so much love to share and he certainly passed it on to his many clients through the years. So sorry to hear of the passing of John - I met John years ago at the Tamblyn Pharmacy in the Kmart in Fredericton when I began my first job. John took me under his wing and his kindness and guidance made every day a joy. John had the unique gift of always bringing a smile to one's face and his humor was greatly appreciated. Years later I again ran into him after moving to the Hampton area and he was working in the Hampton Pharmacy. We shared many a chat and he will long be remembered affectionately for his spirit and optimism. My sincerest condolences.

From his outstanding, dedicated health care he proudly and capably provided for his much beloved patients - to the mentorship, camaraderie, genuine friendship and love for his colleagues, John has left us a legacy of truly unforgettable memories. For this gift, we are forever grateful and will fiercely protect.
What a remarkable 57 year career in Community Pharmacy! It's like we thought he just might live forever. Filling every room he walked into with his laugh.....THAT LAUGH!! Is there anyone else in the entire world that could ever match it? This very recognizable trait of his will surely bring smiles to staff and customers alike, for many years to come.(Laughing out loud just thinking about it!!!) There are so many funny, happy, sad, incredible, downright unbelievable situations, events and stories we have all shared together, right here at Sharp's. Far too many to write, yet stories we will continue to regale with each other over time, bonding us together, keeping his memory alive and near.
We trust that Bev, Jarvis and Lew are waiting to welcome you to your new stoop at the Heavenly Corner Drug Store. Quite the Pharmacy Dream Team right there! Until we meet again , "Float the cubes John!" We love you and miss you.

My heartfelt condolences on John’s passing. I first met him decades ago while doing relief shifts in Hampton. He was one of those people who you could chat away with and feel completely at ease. I will always remember the time. While working with Diana at bargain Gaint, on my way to work I was dropping my daughter Courtney off to the babysitters she popped a tire on her bike. Diana called John, he came right over after work and took the bike to replace the tire so she would be able to drive her bike home.
