Obituary of Carolyn Elaine Lisson

Carolyn Elaine Lisson

It is with deep sadness that the family of Carolyn Elaine Lisson announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Born in Keirstead Mountain, NB on October 28, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Allan and Helen Harrison (Hall) Richardson.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Elaine Goddard (Ron) of Apohaqui, NB; Stephen Lisson (Tammy) of Sussex, NB, Nancy Lisson of Newtown, NB, and her daughter in law, Kim Lisson; her grandchildren: Robin (Matt), Stevie Leigh (Brad), Ken (Tracy), Katie (Scott), Lillian (Corey), Stephen (Tabatha), Amber, Karter, and Sarah (Jean-Christophe); her great grandchildren: Ethan, Abigail, Charlotte, Trynity, Tryanna, Trysten, William, Cody (Natalie), Nichole (Gabe), Meadow, Zachary, Isabella, and Dawson. Carolyn is also survived by her many extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her loving husband, Kenneth; her son, Donald Lisson; her brother, David Richardson; her son in law, Kevin Coates and grandson, Nevin Coates.  

Carolyn loved spending time with family and friends, especially going on lunch dates. She was an employee of the Anglophone South School District as custodian at the Apohaqui Elementary School for 20 + years. She enjoyed playing the organ many years at the Anglican Church in Apohaqui

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will take place on Monday, September 16 from 3-7pm. A celebration of Carolyn’s life will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 11:00am from the Wallace Community Chapel. A private family interment will take place at a later time.

Donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New Brunswick, the Church of the Ascension, Apohaqui, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Donations and personal condolences to the family may be made through www.wallacefuneralhome.com
