Conner, Muriel Irene (nee Consitt), Peacefully, at Queensway Carleton Hospital, after a lengthy illness, on Saturday March 1, 2003 , in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Harold L. Conner, Stittsville,Ont. Predeceased by father Thomas Consitt, and mother Irene Consitt (nee Hudson), and step-mother Dunna Consitt (nee Perry), by brother William Consitt, step-sister Isabelle McKnight. Survived by step-brother Eldon Callahan. Loving mother of Douglas (Trish) Conner of Stittsville, Ont., and Chief Petty Officer Donald (Lesley) Conner of Shubenacadie, N.S. Loving 'Nana' to Donnie, Lee-Anne, Courtney, Ericka and Brittnay Conner. Muriel attended Sussex High School, and was a graduate of Shaw Business School in Toronto. She was employed with C.N. Rail (Toronto) 1943-45. and Legal Secretary to the late Judge White & J. Prescott of Sussex N.B. Friends may visit at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr., Sussex, N.B. on Friday, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel, Saturday March 8 at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, in memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society & the Colitis Foundation would be appreciated.
