Mr. Everett Charles Parsons of Great Oaks Special Care Home, MacDonald's Point, NB. Passed away at his residence on Nov. 6, 2002. Born in Bagdad, NB on May 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Thomas W. and Ruth A. (Carle) Parsons. Everett is survived by 3 sisters Alice McGarity of Cambridge Narrows, Bertha Carr and her husband Don of Geary, Thelma Cusack of Havelock, his brother Charlie Parsons of Fredericton, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Everett was predeceased by 2 brothers Albert and Ralph and by 2 sisters Florence McLean and Helen Gesner Everett grew up in the protestant orphanage in Saint John until the age of 14. Over the years he lived in many different homes and he thought of each place as his home. He loved to play cards and his favorite game was 31. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Everett was well known by the people of Sussex because of his homemade hand drawn wagon which he built himself to transport the bottles he collected. One of Everett's pride possessions was his
