To Nancy, Sheri and your Families,
I will never forget Bert or Peggy. It was very special to have them in my life. They adored you all. They both had so many friends and they both contributed to many lives. For me, I will remember Bert teaching me how to play Crib (he was SOO patient with me ;) ) and how to solve Cryptograms (which became one of my fav pastimes). Peggy taught me 'Hand &Foot' (even when she could barely see the cards), she loved to talk about her faith in the Lord, to have a prayer partner and to stay informed, right to the end, on what all her family and friends were up to.They both shared memories of so many adventures together and individually. I fondly remember laughing with them both. They lived full lives. You have a strong heritage to keep up with.

Dear Nancy, Sharon and family
We are saddened to learn of Bert’s death. He has been part of my life for so long and I still have memories of him and my Dad clowning around as young soldiers. I’m sure our mothers didn’t know who were the children at times…us or them. Your Dad was a faithful friend to my parents and John and I enjoyed our visits with him and your mother. John especially enjoyed the tames he accompanied Bert out for coffee and his stories.
We cherish our memories and he will be missed.

Nancy, Terry, Sharon, Bruno & families; we were so sorry to hear of Bert's passing. As Bert was a founding member of the SNB Wood Co-op, served on it's Board of Directors, and conducted business with us, we have had the privilege of knowing him for many years. He was a very straightforward, hardworking individual who expected the same from everyone. His countless hours volunteering at different organizations showed his selfless nature. We appreciated his time, insightful thoughts, guidance and wisdom throughout all the years. We will be forever grateful that he helped our business be the success it is today. Bertram was 2 doors down from my mom, a WW11 British Veteran and she said she always walked by his door every day and waved to him. She was present for the Honour Guard when he left Ridgewood and was very moved but it all. RIP in peace now Bertram and thank you for your service.
