I was so sorry to learn of Ruby's passing. I haven't been down that way since Doug passed away ( and before that when Doug wasn't well enough to travel) but Ruby and I chatted on the phone once in a while - I will miss that. You must all have great memories of Ruby and that helps at times like these. She will be remembered for more than tea and cookies!

Born a month apart, Bobby and I were like brothers growing up. I spent many happy times at Aunt Ruby's and Uncle John's house. Delicious cookies, lunches and dinners at the family table and cats that I was slightly afraid of are part of my childhood memories. Whenever I see a VW Beetle I think of her.
