This man was one of the best men I know, and I am proud to call him (not only Family) but an amazing friend and neighbor. When I first met Don, he scared me. Haha. It did not stop him from tormenting me, and before the second visit, we were the best of friends; and remained that way until the day he passed. Don was ALWAYS there for me, if I needed anything at all, or just to listen when I needed to vent. He and I always shared one of the most treasured friendships I have ever had. He was a man of his word. If he said he would do something, he did it. He loved life. He loved his family (especially Cassie, Myah and Ava) and made efforts to keep in contact with his Sisters and "his girls" on a regular basis. Don would have given anyone the shirt off his back, and if you were his friend, you had nothing to fear because he would cross rivers and climb mountains for you. Whether it was a coffee visit (at his table or mine,) or a quick chat out the window, while I plowed his driveway after a snow storm, he would make me smile, and make me laugh, in a matter of seconds. I am thankful I had so much time, and such an amazing friendship, with Don. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by many, especially myself. My sincere condolences go out to Cassie, Corey, Myah, Ava, Gaetane, Diane, and all of Don's Family and Friends!
