Obituary of John Allen Dysart

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late John Allen Dysart announce his passing on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Sussex Health Centre in Sussex, NB. Born in Sussex, NB, on December 14, 1946, he was a son of the late Fred and Stella (Tower) Dysart.

John will live on in the hearts of his children: Scott Dysart (Janie) of Sussex Corner, NB, and Cindi Graham of Sussex, NB; his grandchildren: Mitchell, Dana (Apurva), Nicholas, Tyler (Lexi), Danni, and James; his great granddaughter, Camilla; and his brother, Travis Dysart (Donna), of Picadilly, NB. John is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by the mother of his children, Patricia (Irvine).

John will be fondly remembered by his special friend, Janice, and all of his Wednesday night “Camp Crew.”

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). A graveside service will be held at Trinity Cemetery (61 Needle St., Sussex Corner) on Thursday, May 2 at 1:00pm. A reception will follow at St. John’s United Church Centre (5 Needle St., Sussex Corner). If you are unable to attend to the graveside, the family graciously invite you to attend the reception and share your memories of John.
