We were so pleased to have been at Kiwanis for Charter Night when Lloyd was recognized for 50 years of service. We knew Lloyd through personal friendship, business as well as service in Kiwanis. My condolances to Louise and the family of Lloyd. I worked with Lloyd at the Sussex Health Centre. He cared deeply for his work, the facility, staff, and the patients. He was the ultimate supporter of local. He was the biggest champion for Sussex and all that it offered. Still my go to place.

My condolences to the Secord Family at the loss of Lloyd. Please know that you are in thoughts and prayers at this sad time. I knew Lloyd in his days at the Sussex Health Centre and Atlantic Health Sciences Corp. Lloyd made many contributions to health care and its administration in this region. However, what stands out to me was his commitment and his belief health care was/is a ministry. Something to remember.

Dear Louise and Family
Sending our deepest sympathies to all of you.
I worked under Lloyd when he was administrator as we made the move from the old Kings County Memorial Hospital into our now present Sussex Health Centre.
With his knowledge and foresight into the future of healthcare with everything being under the same umbrella of care, Sussex was put on the map as one of the most modern all encompassing facilities in the province. Jeff enjoyed serving on Kiwanis with Lloyd and we especially enjoyed all of our coffee dates and conversations with you both after retirement.
What a comfort in knowing that Lloyd is now restored to perfect health. We will be praying for you Louise.

My uncle Lloyd always made me laugh and was so loving towards me. From taking care of me as an infant to always getting the family together, he was a very special person. Lloyd always had a joke ready. I will always remember him wearing his sweatshirt that read “The School of Hard Knocks” which was just totally iconic. His nieces and nephews and grandchildren will always carry memories of spending time at his farm, playing in the box tunnel, playing ping pong and pool, four wheeling and picking fiddleheads. ♥️ We love you Lloyd and know that you are in a beautiful place and are surrounded by love. ♥️
